Recueillement is an audio-visual installation and research project developed and first shown during the art festival Gorée Regards Sur Cours on Gorée Island in Senegal.
It explores the sea as a body and organic archive, proposing material strategies for healing and recovery.
In its written form, it became part of the the collaborative art and discourse project For the Phoenix to Find Its Form in Us by Savvy Contemporary Berlin and was published in print by Archive Books in 2024.
